Das IEP ist Gründungsmitglied der undefinedTrans European Policy Studies Association (TEPSA) mit Sitz in Brüssel und seit 1962 Mitglied derundefinedEuropäischen Bewegung Deutschland.

Die Vierteljahreszeitschrift des IEP integration erscheint in Zusammenarbeit mit der deutschen Sektion der ECSA (undefinedArbeitskreis Europäische Integration (AEI)).

Associated members are:

The IEP is member of the Network European Movement in Germany (Europäische Bewegung Deutschland). The Network European Movement Germany is a non-party association of civil society organisations that take a special interest in European politics. Today the Network European Movement Germany has more than 120 member organisations.

Moreover, the IEP cooperates with the Europa-Union Deutschland, another independent non-governmental organisation which has an individual membership and addresses citizens at large and a wider public.

As part of its academic activities, the IEP is active in a number of networks, among them:

  • Network of Excellence "EU-CONSENT " Constructing Europe Network: Wider Europe, deeper integration"". EU-CONSENT is financially supported by the EU"s Sixth Framework Programme. It is a network of excellence for joint research and teaching which stretches across Europe. The IEP is one of the work package leaders.

  • "FORNET": FORNET is a network of researchers active in the field of CFSP/ESDP. They publish bi-monthly an online newsletter, the "CFSP Forum" which was initiated by the IEP in the early nineties and continued within FORNET.

  • "Arbeitskreis Europäische Integration/German member of ECSA": The IEP regularly cooperates with the Arbeitskreis Europäische Integration. The IEP"s quarterly journal "integration" is edited in cooperation with the Arbeitskreis Europäische Integration. It initiates research and cooperation between universities, think tanks and other academic institutes, promotes exchange between academia and policy-makers in Europe.

  • The Academic Board of the IEP is composed of experts from several academic disciplines from universities and think tanks in Germany and other EU member states.

  • The IEP is engaged in several post-graduate programmes, among them: Post-graduate Studies "Master of European and International Studies" and "European Foreign and Security Policy Studies Programme" and the "European Online Academy".
